We would like to wish all our customers, partners, suppliers and blog readers a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
We’ve had a strong year. Our mission has been to build out our end-to-end supply chain offerings so that we can provide a complete range of solutions to our ecommerce and distribution clients.
To meet this, we have increased our focus on warehouse management systems (WMS) and transport management systems (TMS). And to enhance this, we updated our website to reflect this renewed focus and repositioning.
The UK team has grown in 2018 from 16 to 23 employees. In the main, the growth has come from building a new TMS-specific department and also enlarging the WMS team.
But we’ve also spread our wings this year, and have begun to implement our internationalisation plans. With new offices and staff in India and Canada, the wider Balloon family is now 33 strong.
All of this has seen the company go from strength to strength, growing financially at 15%.
Opening hours over Christmas and New Year
We will be closed for three days over the festive period:
- Christmas Day, Monday 25th December
- Boxing Day, Tuesday 26th December
- New Year’s Day, Monday 1st January
Aside from that, our offices will be open as normal, and support cover will be available from 9.00 am to 6.00 pm.
Although we will close early – at 4.00 pm – on Monday 24th December and on Monday 31st December.
